With this recent production a response to Damon’s role as a father, he explores vulnerability as a movement for regeneration, suggesting that the deep internal work that is necessary for change is lacking in many areas of society today. He talks about his own reluctancy to share a certain side of himself in his work while pushing forward to embrace all aspects of himself in order to free the mind-space for new emotions. Damon realizes the power of imagination to strengthen and transform our communities and the necessity to tell our authentic stories to connect and value one another more deeply.
